FLEX Class / Reminders

Friendly Reminder: Cell Phone Guidelines at Stacey Middle School

Dear Stacey Families,

We’d like to take a moment to remind everyone about our cell phone/electronics guidelines at Stacey, which are designed to help students stay focused and make the most of their school day.

📱 "Bell to Bell, No Cell." - Cell phones should be turned off and kept in backpacks from bell to bell (8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.) each day. This includes during lunch—students should avoid using their phones to “check who texted,” look at the time, or scroll through social media.

We know that many families are already reinforcing these expectations at home, and we truly appreciate your partnership in helping ensure that phones and devices are not a distraction during the school day. Your efforts make a big difference in keeping students present, focused, and engaged.

We’ve found that limiting phone use/access during school helps reduce distractions, supports positive social interactions, and minimizes the stress that can come from social media or messaging during class time.

To further help at home, families might consider:
•Setting screen time limits or parental controls during school hours
•Reminding students to keep their phones powered off and put away while on campus
•Contacting the front office if you ever need to reach your student—we’ll make sure your message gets to them quickly

Thank you again for your continued support and collaboration in creating a focused and positive learning environment for all of our students.

Sincerely,
Stacey MS Administration and Staff
