Must bring your Chromebook charged and ready to be used for your presentation.
Corporate attire creates a sense of confidence for Exit Interviews that will help enhance their public speaking and interpersonal communication skills. When choosing outfits, consider what you might wear to a formal event like a wedding or a church service. Here are some guidelines and items to avoid:
Suggested Corporate Attire:
General:
· Collared shirts, ties, slacks, or very dark jeans
· Blouses, work dresses, or skirts at appropriate lengths
· Dress pants with blouses or sweaters
· Shoes should be clean; heels no higher than 2”
· Optional jackets or appropriate sweaters
· Hair should be neat and faces clear
Please Avoid:
· Casual wear such as t-shirts, shorts, and athletic shoes
· Excessively tight or loose clothing
· Clothing with logos, graphics, or overly bright patterns
· Distressed or ripped clothing
· Exposed shoulders and overly short hemlines
Please utilize existing wardrobe items rather than purchasing new ones. For assistance with attire, students can consult Dr. Nichols, Mrs. Rife, or Mr. Wharton in the office. This attire will also be suitable for our June promotion ceremony.
Thank you for your support as we guide our students in thinking about their futures.

WSD’s Promotion Requirements:
8th grade students must meet the following requirements to earn a Diploma or Certificate and participate in the promotion ceremony and end –of-the-year activities:

- 75% school attendance
Students who do not clear all outstanding obligations (ex: textbooks, library books, Chromebooks, textbooks, fees) may be excluded from participating in promotion and end-of-the-year activities and receiving their yearbook. Students who have excessive absences, tardies, and behavior incidents, have been administratively transferred from another school, or have not attained a cumulative GPA of 1.5 GPA may be excluded from promotion and end-of-of-the-year activities at the administration’s discretion.
